The Board of Trustees, management, and staff of Huntingdon Valley Bank are committed to protect the privacy of customer’s private personal information. We understand that customers furnish sensitive information to us and the bank will treat such information responsibly and in accordance with the law. The following disclosure outlines the bank's policies and practices regarding personally identifiable information. Our policy tells you about the Information we collect about you and to whom we may disclose that information. Some terminology we will use throughout this disclosure follows:

Nonpublic personal information.

Nonpublic personal information is information that is collected when providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

Everyday business purpose.

The actions necessary to run our institution and manage customer accounts such as processing transactions, mailing and auditing services, providing information to credit bureaus, responding to court orders and legal investigations.

Nonaffiliated third parties. 

Nonaffiliated Third Parties are companies that do not share common ownership or control with us. They can be financial or non financial companies.

Joint Marketing.

Joint marketing is a formal arrangement between nonaffiliated financial companies, such as credit card companies, that work together to market products or services to you.

Affiliate.  

An affiliate is a company related by common ownership or control. At this time Huntingdon Valley Bank has no affiliates.

The entities with which we share nonpublic personal Information are service providers that perform marketing services on our behalf and on behalf of another financial Institution; and a financial Institution with whom we have a joint marketing agreement.

OPT-OUT DISCLOSURE

If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal Information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). Joint Accounts

A single opt-out notice received from any joint account owner will be treated as an opt-out notice as applying only to that joint account owner. In addition, the institution allows any joint account owner to opt-out on behalf of all account owners upon request.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

We restrict access to nonpublic personal Information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

We educate our employees on these procedures and about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.

 HOW WE HANDLE YOU’RE INTERNET PRIVACY 

Huntingdon Valley Bank respects your privacy when using and accessing information about us over the internet through this website. We do not sell or distribute user information to third parties. We gather user information and will distribute this information within Huntingdon Valley Bank in order to serve your needs and respond to your information requests. We use these guidelines in protecting your privacy. 

1. Gathering of user information. We collect information about our web visitors indirectly through our internet access logs. When you access huntingdonvalleybank.com, your browser's domain name and internet address is automatically collected and is placed in our internet access logs. We use this information to learn about which pages and information our website visitors access and how often. We also collect user information when you voluntarily submit it to us on our e-mail contact form. When we collect this type of information, we intend to use the information to determine how we can meet your needs and respond to your requests. It is completely up to you whether you want to provide this information.
2. Use of cookies. The Huntingdon Valley Bank website only minimally uses cookies to assign a "User I.D." Cookies are small files of information, which save specific information about your visit. This enables us to respond to your request about a product or service.

If you are sending electronic mail to Huntingdon Valley Bank, we want to remind you that e-mail is not necessarily secure against interception. WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

* Protect your account numbers, PINs and passwords. Never keep your PIN with your cards.

* Use discretion when disclosing your account information or social security number.

* Do not provide Information to anyone who says they are from your bank and asks for information such as account numbers or PINs regardless of how convincing they are.

* Make sure we have current information about you, such as addresses and telephone numbers.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

If we change our policy or practice by, for example, adding a category of information that we will disclose to a third party. We will notify existing customers and give them a chance to opt out of that disclosure.
