The Board of Trustees, management, and staff of Huntingdon Valley Bank are committed to protect the privacy of customer’s private personal information. We understand that customers furnish sensitive information to us and the bank will treat such information responsibly and in accordance with the law. The following disclosure outlines the bank's policies and practices regarding personally identifiable information. Our policy tells you about the Information we collect about you and to whom we may disclose that information. Some terminology we will use throughout this disclosure follows:

Nonpublic personal information is information that is collected when providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

 

Everyday business purpose.

The actions necessary to run our institution and manage customer accounts such as processing transactions, mailing and auditing services, providing information to credit bureaus, responding to court orders and legal investigations.

 

Nonaffiliated third parties. 

Nonaffiliated Third Parties are companies that do not share common ownership or control with us. They can be financial or non financial companies.

 

Joint Marketing.

Joint marketing is a formal arrangement between nonaffiliated financial companies, such as credit card companies, that work together to market products or services to you.

 

Affiliate.  

An affiliate is a company related by common ownership or control. At this time Huntingdon Valley Bank has no affiliates.

If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal Information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). Joint Accounts

A single opt-out notice received from any joint account owner will be treated as an opt-out notice as applying only to that joint account owner. In addition, the institution allows any joint account owner to opt-out on behalf of all account owners upon request.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal Information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

We educate our employees on these procedures and about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.

Huntingdon Valley Bank respects your privacy when using and accessing information about us over the internet through this website. We do not sell or distribute user information to third parties. We gather user information and will distribute this information within Huntingdon Valley Bank in order to serve your needs and respond to your information requests. We use these guidelines in protecting your privacy. 

  1. Gathering of user information. We collect information about our web visitors indirectly through our internet access logs. * Do not provide Information to anyone who says they are from your bank and asks for information such as account numbers or PINs regardless of how convincing they are.

* Make sure we have current information about you, such as addresses and telephone numbers.

 

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

If we change our policy or practice by, for example, adding a category of information that we will disclose to a third party. We will notify existing customers and give them a chance to opt out of that disclosure.
